Job summary

JLL Project & Development Services - MENA is seeking an experienced Planner to join the Dubai-based on-site team. You will develop, monitor and maintain comprehensive construction schedules to ensure timely completion of projects, while optimizing resources and identifying risks.

The role requires 3–5 years of planning experience, proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. PMI-SP/PSP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of construction planning experience and knowledge of CPM scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents and subcontractors to set realistic timelines.
• Maintain and update project schedules through the construction lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, procurement and field ops to ensure schedule alignment.
• Track progress against baselines and identify risks with mitigation plans.

Role Purpose

Planner

What this job involves:

We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing monitoring and maintaining comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects while optimizing resource allocation and identifying potential risks.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Develop detailed construction schedules using industry-standard software (Primavera P6 MS Project etc.)
• Coordinate with project managers superintendents and subcontractors to establish realistic timelines
• Maintain and update project schedules throughout construction lifecycle
• Collaborate with design teams procurement and field operations to ensure schedule alignment
• Track project progress against baseline schedules
• Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

• Professional certification (PMI-SP PSP) preferred
• Experience with Lean Construction principles
• Knowledge of pull planning and Last Planner System
• Familiarity with construction cost management
• Experience with integrated project delivery methods

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field
• 3-5 years of construction planning experience
• Experience with commercial residential or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel
• Familiarity with BIM software (Navisworks Revit) preferred
• Understanding of construction methods and sequencing
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling principles
