Job summary

Veolia Water Tech MEA is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to ensure construction projects are completed within contract deadlines and budgets while meeting safety standards. You will lead weekly team meetings, produce progress reports, and monitor KPI's, cash flow, and resource utilization.

You will liaise with engineering, procurement, installation teams, and client planning engineers to protect company rights and minimize risks.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost management and budgeting.
• Advanced project and resource management using P6.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Weekly meetings with the team to discuss progress and identify issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports defining backlog, critical activities and look-ahead.
• Monitor manpower histogram, equipment histogram, KPIs, S-curve and cash flow.
• Prepare extension of time to protect company rights and avoid liquidated damages.
• Produce comprehensive construction schedules and updates.

Job Description

Prime Objective:

Responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed within contract deadline and within the budget and in line with all the relevant safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities: (as follows but not limited to)

• Weekly meeting with the team to discuss the progress and verify if any issues that may arise during the project life cycle.

• Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports to define backlog activities, critical activities and look ahead activities.

• Monitoring manpower histogram, equipment histogram, KPI's , S curve and cash flow.

• Prepare extension of time if required to protect company rights and any chance of applying Liquidated damages.

• Produce comprehensive construction schedules and updates.

• Project Managers.

• Operation Director.

Main Liaison

• Engineering, Procurement and Installation team.

• Client and Consultant planning engineers.

• Cost control, contractual and legal team.
