Job summary

Ascertia in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a PKI / Digital Signature Engineer to deploy and operate a comprehensive PKI and digital signature platform on-site. You will work with Ascertia ADSS, deliver documentation, and support integrations across infrastructure, development, and security teams.

You will manage post-Go-Live operations, monitor system health, and deliver trainings, contributing to regional and global PKI projects and enterprise-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with PKI and Digital Signature concepts and solutions (preferably with Ascertia ADSS).
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic services (OCSP, CRL, TSA).
• Experience administering Linux servers (RHEL).
• Familiarity with ETSI PKI standards and DBs such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Deploy a PKI and digital signature platform powered by Ascertia ADSS.
• Produce configuration and operations documentation for the deployed solution.
• Assist with integration and troubleshooting of PKI platforms with enterprise dependencies.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and security teams to resolve issues.
• Manage PKI and signature platform post Go Live as PKI administrator; monitor health.
• Deliver PKI and digital signature trainings.

PKI / Digital Signature Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Deploy a PKI and digital signature platform powered by Ascertia ADSS.
• Produce configuration and operations documentation related to the deployed solution
• Assist with integration and troubleshooting of the PKI and signing platform integrations with the enterprise dependencies (SOC, monitoring, …)
• Work closely with infrastructure, development, and security teams to resolve technical issues and support new projects.
• Day to day management of the PKI and signature platform post Go Live operating as a PKI administrator. Monitor system health and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure availability of services.
• Deliver PKI and digital signature trainings

Essential Skills & Experience

• Worked as project manager, implementation manager and technical architect in PKI and Digital signature projects
• Good experience of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Digital Signature concepts and solutions (preferably with Ascertia ADSS)
• Good experience with cryptographic services such as OCSP, CRL, and Time Stamping (TSA)
• Good experience of ETSI PKI and Digital Signature standards
• Good experience with Hardware Security Modules (Thales/Utimaco/Entrust)
• Experience administering Linux servers (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Good understanding of networking and security fundamentals
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
