Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering required.
• Proven track record as piping construction professional with EPC contractor experience.
• Ability to read technical and contractual requirements quickly.
• Hands-on understanding of fabrication, erection, welding, NDT, PWHT, hydrotesting, reinstatement, materials, supports, and completions.
• Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 EPC contractors or major construction fabricators.

Job description

Required to join an international contractor in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing practical, project-facing expertise in piping fabrication, erection, testing, completion, pre-commissioning readiness and mechanical handover across major EPC and construction projects.

The role supports from tender stage through mobilisation, engineering interface, construction planning, fabrication strategy, field execution, hydrotesting, reinstatement, punch closure, pre-commissioning interface, and project close-out. The position is intended to improve buildability, reduce late interface issues, strengthen tender submissions, support productivity improvement, and assist project teams where specialist piping judgement is required.

Applicants should met the following criteria

• A degree in Engineering
• A proven track record as a piping construction professional with broad EPC contractor experience, strong site execution judgement, and the ability to support both tenders and live projects.
• Ability to read technical and contractual requirements quickly, identify piping execution risks, coordinate across disciplines, guide project teams, prepare practical deliverables and communicate advice in a concise, commercially aware, and claim-safe manner
• Hands-on understanding of fabrication, erection, welding, NDT, PWHT, hydrotesting, reinstatement, material control, supports, and completions
• Tier 1 or Tier 2 EPC contractor, major construction contractor, or industrial fabricator with strong site execution exposure.
