Job summary

Orbit ISS is seeking a Piping Engineer for a short-term project (23 months, extendable) to handle design analysis and supervision of piping systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes and safety standards. Immediate joining is preferred.

Responsibilities include preparing piping layouts, isometrics, BOMs, performing stress and load analyses, and coordinating with process, mechanical, civil and electrical teams to review vendor data and support procurement and installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare piping layouts, isometrics, material specifications and BOMs.
• Perform stress analysis, pressure drop calculations and load analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME B31.3/B31.1, ISO and other standards.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil and electrical teams.
• Review vendor data drawings and support procurement, fabrication and installation.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure quality compliance.

Role Overview:

Orbit ISS are looking for a Piping Engineer for a short-term project (23 months extendable). The candidate must be ready to join immediately if selected. You will handle the design analysis and supervision of piping systems ensuring compliance with project specifications codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare piping layouts isometrics material specifications and BOMs.
• Perform stress analysis pressure drop calculations and load analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME B31.3/B31.1 ISO and other standards.
• Coordinate with process mechanical civil and electrical teams.
• Review vendor data drawings and support procurement/fabrication/installation.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure quality compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 37 years of experience in piping design and engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD PDMS SmartPlant 3D CAESAR II or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PFDs P&IDs and isometric drawings.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
