Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking an experienced Inspection Specialist to support the Pipeline Network Division in inspecting pipelines, above-ground piping and static equipment, and to perform non-destructive testing as required.

The role involves coordinating with IPS contractors, conducting dig verifications, corrosion mapping, and contributing to audits and shut-down activities, ensuring compliance with international codes and the company's QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgy Technology or equivalent.
• 5 years of inspection and corrosion prevention experience in pipelines.
• Certifications in Welding (AWS, CSWIP3.1) API 570/653/510/579 and NACE or BGAS; Lead Auditor preferred.
• Knowledge of Pipeline Integrity Management software (PIMS) is a plus.
• Understanding QA/QC systems, design, metallurgy, welding and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pipelines, above-ground piping and static equipment per procedures.
• Analyze IPS results; assess corrosion and report findings.
• Coordinate with IPS contractors for UT scanning and corrosion monitoring.
• Maintain PIMS, SAP MM, and Maximo records and documentation.
• Support QA/QC and participate in internal/external audits and field inspections.
