Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to assess and treat patients with mobility disorders, in line with UAE health regulations. The role involves evaluating the need for physiotherapy, monitoring progress, and coordinating with Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners.

You will work within an international multidisciplinary team, with a tax-free, all-inclusive salary, healthcare coverage, yearly ticket allowance, and annual leave, under UAE labor law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Physiotherapy and valid licensure.
• Experience with pediatric and neurological cases preferred.
• Strong English communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine whether physiotherapy interventions are necessary.
• Assess patients according to professional guidelines and standards.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate (massage, hydrotherapy, etc.).
• Liaise with Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners as needed.
• Update and maintain accurate patient notes and reports.

Our client is looking for an healthcare professional familiar and comply with all OSHMS policies, standards and procedures that are relevant for their workplace. Attend applicable facility and departmental safety training and follow OSHMS policies and procedures.

• Evaluate patients to determine whether physiotherapy interventions are necessary
• Assess patients in accordance with the professional practice guidelines and standards
• Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed
• Treat patients with movement disorders that were acquired through injury or have been present since birth
• Regularly measure patient progress by looking for signs of decreased stiffness, pain, and discomfort
• Recommend new tools and equipment to assist patients with regular exercise
• Refer patients to other specialists for massages, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, or other specialized treatments
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners and referring patients as needed
• Involving the families and caregivers of patients in their treatment programmes and the delivery of care
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient case notes and reports
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Staying up to date regarding new physiotherapy technologies and techniques
• Complying with government physiotherapy regulations

Education & Qualifications:

• Recognized Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy
• 2 year post graduate experience in a variety of clinical environments
• Valid DOH license or eligibility
• Experience in Pediatrics and Complex neurological presentations
• Post-qualifying certificates in relevant areas like sports injury rehab, lymphedema management, or scoliosis management
• Relevant range of experience in patient care settings specifically in Out Patient
• Due to government Emiratisation rules and regulations, only UAE nationals with passport and family book can be considered for this role
