Job summary

Royal Health Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to assess, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate patients with physical impairments, injuries, pain and movement disorders. The physiotherapist will develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, function and quality of life.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, a UAE license, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid license/eligibility from UAE health authority (DOH/DHA/MOHAP).
• Relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification may be required by the employer.
• Good knowledge of physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evaluate patients.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on clinical findings.
• Provide therapies including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, stretching, strengthening, and mobility training.
• Treat musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, sports-related, and post-operative conditions as appropriate.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans when required.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, posture, ergonomics, and home rehabilitation programs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical-governance procedures.
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and training.
• Comply with applicable UAE healthcare regulations and the requirements of the relevant health authority.
