Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi seeks a physiotherapist to provide safe, evidence-based services within assigned units. You will support the senior team, participate in clinical governance, and contribute to patient satisfaction through goal-directed assessment and treatment planning.

The role requires a BSc in Physiotherapy, a current UAE license, and at least 2 years post-graduate experience in a large hospital or rehab facility. A Master’s in Rehabilitation Services is an advantage.

Qualifications

• NLT 2 years post graduate experience as a Physiotherapist in a large hospital.
• Experience with patients in acute care or rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• UAE National upon completion of internship.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, effective, evidence-based physiotherapy services to the assigned unit.
• Assists senior physiotherapist to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Aligns with vision, policies and professional guidelines; maintains CPD/CME hours.
• Identifies clinical and environmental risks and supports risk mitigation.
• Delivers high-standard, patient-centered care using goal-directed treatment planning.
• Communicates with patients and care providers to maximize rehabilitative potential.

Education

BSc in Physiotherapy

Diploma in Physiotherapy (NLT 3 years)

Current National License

Master’s in Rehabilitation Services (preferred)
