Successful candidates will align with our values, hold PGCE or equivalent, and have experience with the American curriculum plus a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in physics or related subject with PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in the related field.
• Experience with the American curriculum.
• Commitment to enrichment programs and extra-curricular activities.
• Experience with students for whom English is an additional language.
• Clean enhanced DBS or police check.

Responsibilities

• Create a climate for learning conducive to outstanding practice.
• Identify learning objectives and set challenging tasks.
• Differentiate instruction and track progress with data.
• Assess learning using formative and summative methods.
• Maintain discipline and promote punctuality and high standards.
• Prepare reports for parents and contribute to curriculum planning.
• Engage in CPD and professional reading; participate in workshops.
• Undertake additional duties as required by leadership.
