Job summary

Teach Away in United Arab Emirates seeks a qualified Physics teacher to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the ADEK curriculum. You will plan, prepare and assess activities to promote student achievement and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with a recognized teaching qualification, minimum 2 years of Physics teaching experience, and proficiency in lab safety and educational technology. IELTS may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Physics or related field with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Teaching credential/license required with ADEK-compliant eligibility.
• IELTS or equivalent English proficiency as part of the credentials.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in Physics.

Job description

Deliver high-quality Physics lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum and school policies.

Plan, prepare and assess lessons that promote student achievement and progress.

Develop students' understanding of Physics concepts through practical investigations and laboratory activities.

Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing regular feedback and support.

Maintain accurate academic records, assessments and reports.

Create a safe and engaging learning environment, ensuring compliance with laboratory health and safety procedures.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student success.

Participate in curriculum development, school activities and professional development programmes.

Support the school's educational objectives in accordance with ADEK requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor
• Teaching Experience: 2+ years
• Licenses & Certifications: Teaching Credential/License, Other Certification - IELTS
• Additional School Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (QFE Level 7) in Physics or a related field, with a recognized teaching qualification. Teaching qualification meeting ADEK requirements. Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in Physics. Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Physics curricula. Experience in planning and delivering practical laboratory-based lessons. Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in educational technology and assessment practices. Relevant professional licensing requirements must be met where applicable.
