Job summary

Teach Away client in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Physics teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons in line with the ADEK‑approved curriculum and school policies. You will plan, prepare and assess lessons that promote progress and curiosity, including laboratory activities to reinforce concepts.

The successful candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (QFE Level 7) in Physics with a recognized teaching qualification, at least 2 years of Physics teaching experience, and a valid teaching credential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (QFE Level 7) in Physics with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of Physics teaching experience.
• Teaching credential/license and IELTS.
• ADEK requirements must be met where applicable.
• Strong subject knowledge and laboratory skills.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Physics lessons in line with the approved curriculum and school policies.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons to promote student achievement and progress.
• Develop students' understanding through practical investigations and laboratory activities.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance with regular feedback.
• Maintain accurate academic records, assessments, and reports.
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment with proper lab health and safety procedures.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.
• Participate in curriculum development, school activities and professional development.
• Support ADEK educational objectives.
