Job summary

Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi seeks an outstanding Science Teacher with a Physics specialization to join its growing secondary school for the 2027-2028 academic year. The successful candidate will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics across Key Stage 3 while contributing specialist Physics knowledge to GCSE/IGCSE and future A Level provision.

Candidates must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, and have at least two years’ experience teaching

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
At least 2 years of experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
Experience in an international school environment is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Science lessons covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stage 3.
Provide specialist Physics teaching at Key Stages 4 and 5 where required by the curriculum.
Plan schemes of work aligned with the UK National Curriculum and relevant exam specifications.
Prepare students for GCSE/IGCSE, A Level and BTEC Science qualifications where applicable.
Develop students' scientific understanding, mathematical reasoning, and investigative skills.
Integrate digital technology and blended learning to enhance teaching and engagement.
