The coordinator will ensure that all PE programs meet the highest standards of quality safety and student engagement while fostering teamwork and wellness throughout the school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support PE teachers ensuring consistency in teaching and program delivery.
• Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes fitness, health education and skill development.
• Coordinate sports schedules, tournaments, inter-school events and extracurricular physical activities.
• Provide professional development and mentorship for PE teachers to enhance instructional quality.
• Oversee the maintenance and safety of sports facilities and equipment.
• Manage PE department budgets, equipment procurement and resource allocation efficiently.
• Collaborate with school leadership teams to integrate physical education into the broader educational experience.
• Design assessment frameworks to measure student progress and physical development.
• Promote health, wellness and active lifestyle initiatives within the school community.
• Act as liaison with external sports organizations, coaches and vendors to create enriching experiences for students.

Qualifications and Skills

• Masters degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in physical education teaching with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role in UAE.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and sites.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, event organization and student-centered teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• First Aid and Coaching certifications are an advantage.
