Job summary

Syscort Technologies in Dubai is seeking a Software Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience in PHP and Angular. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, REST APIs, and integrations, collaborating with product, technology, and business teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on PHP/Laravel and Angular expertise, strong knowledge of SQL databases, and experience building RESTful services.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP.
• Good practical experience with Laravel or a similar PHP framework.
• Strong experience with Angular.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP/Laravel and Angular.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop robust backend services and business logic using PHP and Laravel.
• Design, optimize, and work with SQL databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across frontend and backend components.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other developers, QA, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to application performance, security scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Support deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution when required.
• Stay updated with relevant technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
