Abroad Work is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our Abu-Dhabi team. The role focuses on venipuncture, accurate labeling, and maintaining strict safety and documentation standards. Excellent communication with patients is essential to reassure and inform them during procedures.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science and proven clinical experience, with the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Abu-Dhabi location, UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field.
• Experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture on patients using appropriate techniques and safety measures.
• Ensure proper labeling of blood samples before sending for testing.
• Maintain accurate records of collected blood samples.
• Explain procedures to nervous patients and answer questions promptly.
• Clean, maintain and sterilize equipment as required.
• Follow protocols for specimen collection, labeling, handling, and transport.
