Sephora Middle East is recruiting a People Partner Retail & Emiratization to support and elevate our retail teams across the UAE and Oman. In this role, you will be a key partner to our Retail leaders, providing expertise across the full employee lifecyle to drive business performance, engagement, and best‑in‑class employee experience.
You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:
People Business Partnering:- Execute HR strategies aligned with Sephora’s global and local business objectives.
- Partner with Retail leaders to drive performance, engagement, and continuous growth across stores.
Talent Acquisition & Retention:- Lead the end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding process in collaboration with Store Managers to ensure a seamless and engaging candidate and employee experience.
- Review and analyze attrition data to identify trends and develop targeted solutions to increase engagement and retention.
Performance Management & Talent Development:- Drive the performance management cycle, ensuring consistency, fairness and alignment with business expectations.
- Guide managers in setting SMART goals, conducting effective performance conversations and embedding a feedback culture.
- Identify high‑potential talent and lead career conversations, providing clear pathways for advancement and maximizing talent retention.
- Champion career advancement, internal mobility and succession planning to build a strong leadership and expertise pipeline.
- Collaborate with Sephora University and Retail Leaders to implement capability‑building programmes tailored to our talents and business evolving needs.
- Promote and embed a coaching mindset across retail leadership.
Employee Experience & Engagement:- Drive initiatives that reinforce Sephora's values, with a strong focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Leverage engagement survey results to develop meaningful, measurable action plans that enhance the employee experience.
- Provide guidance on compensation and benefits frameworks to ensure fairness, competitiveness and alignment with market and organisational standards.
- Conduct regular store visits to build trust, maintain visibility and proactively address HR‑related concerns.
Employee Relations:- Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes while maintaining a positive employee experience.
- Ensure HR policies, systems and processes are implemented consistently.
Emiratization:- Collaborate with store leadership, head office and Sephora University stakeholders to ensure consistent adherence to the Emiratization mandates.
- Execute Emiratization strategy and programme to attract, develop and retain Emirati talent.
- Execute the engagement and upskilling initiatives to cultivate local talent with a passion for luxury retail.
What we’re looking for:- A proactive problem‑solver with the ability to navigate complexity in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- A person who thrives in a dynamic, multi‑store operational ecosystem.
- Skilled in talent acquisition, employee relations, and talent development with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within retail.
- Knowledgeable in HR practices, employment law, and organisational development.
- An excellent communicator, relationship builder and strategic partner to all levels of the business.
