Job summary

leading-edge is seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to simulate cyber attacks, test defenses, and identify vulnerabilities across systems and networks. You will perform tests on networks and web apps, analyze results, and recommend remediation.

You will collaborate with developers to apply secure coding practices, stay current with threat landscapes, and contribute to incident response and threat hunting activities. A strong testing toolkit and relevant certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in penetration testing or related field.
• Proven experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies such as Nmap, Metasploit, and Burp Suite.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems and web applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN.
