Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist to join a leading UAE healthcare organisation. The role involves expert diagnosis, management of infections in infants, children and adolescents, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Tier 1 / Western qualifications preferred; Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred. UAE licensing and relocation support may be provided, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognised specialist qualification in Pediatrics and subspecialty training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
• Consultant-level experience in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
• Tier 1 / Western qualification preferred, including UK CCST/CCT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, and follow-up for pediatric infectious diseases.
• Manage bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections in children.
• Collaborate with PICU, neonatology, hematology/oncology, and other teams.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention measures.
• Educate patients and families on infection prevention and treatments.
• Participate in governance, teaching, and continuing professional development.
