Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks an experienced Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for a tertiary-care hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The role includes leadership in clinical governance, education, and research, while delivering timely, compassionate emergency care for infants, children and adolescents.

Requirements include 8–10 years post-specialization, PEM board certification or equivalent, English fluency (Arabic is a plus); on-site, full-time work.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or related PEM pathway.
• 8–10 years of post-specialization experience at consultant level.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency assessment and management for pediatric patients with acute medical, surgical, and trauma conditions.
• Lead pediatric resuscitation efforts, including advanced airway management, vascular access, and life-saving interventions.
• Coordinate patient care with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, intensivists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff.
• Support safe and efficient patient flow within the Pediatric Emergency Department.
