Primary Responsibilities
  • Performing comprehensive evaluations and assessments of critically ill pediatric patients.
  • Developing and executing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Utilizing advanced technologies and best practices in pediatric critical care.
  • Communicating effectively with families to discuss treatment options and care plans.
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Providing mentorship and education to medical residents and nursing staff.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a Pediatric residency and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine is required.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the relevant state.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit preferred.
