Job summary

SEHA Health System in Abu Dhabi seeks a Consultant in Pediatric Oral and Maxillofacial – Craniofacial Surgery to provide expert assessment, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and long‑term management of congenital and acquired craniofacial disorders in infants, children, and adolescents.

The role requires credentials from North America/UK/Ireland or Australia/New Zealand, with post‑board experience and a current license to practice.

Qualifications

• Basic medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Post‑qualification certification in OMFS.
• Current medical license to practice in country of residence.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage craniofacial conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
• Perform complex craniofacial reconstructive procedures, including craniosynostosis and cleft-related deformities.
• Plan and execute reconstruction using advanced techniques and microsurgical methods when indicated.
• Provide preoperative assessment, perioperative management, and long‑term follow-up.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary craniofacial clinics with neurosurgery, ENT, orthodontics, and therapy services.
• Supervise residents, fellows, and junior staff, ensuring safety and protocol compliance.
