Qualifications

• DHA Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Mandatory.
• 18+ years of professional clinical experience.
• Extensive experience working with children and adolescents.
• ADOS-trained/certified, with practical autism assessment experience.
• Strong background in pediatric psychology, assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents.
• Conduct and interpret ADOS assessments and contribute to autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop personalised treatment and intervention plans based on clinical assessments.
• Provide psychological therapy and behavioural support where appropriate.
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, schools, and other healthcare professionals.
• Prepare accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and other clinicians.
• Provide families with appropriate guidance and recommendations based on assessment outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced psychology professional with 18+ years of clinical experience and strong expertise in pediatric and developmental psychology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting children and adolescents, conducting complex psychological assessments, and working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents.
• Conduct and interpret ADOS assessments and contribute to autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop personalised treatment and intervention plans based on clinical assessments.
• Provide psychological therapy and behavioural support where appropriate.
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, schools, and other healthcare professionals.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other clinicians.

• Proven experience working with children presenting with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, learning difficulties, and behavioural or emotional challenges.
• Strong expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, clinical formulation, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong patient and family-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary pediatric team.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
