Job summary

Sowelo Consulting in Dubai is seeking a Payroll Assistant to support timely and accurate payroll processing and manage employee lifecycle needs. You will work alongside HR and local payroll providers in a fast-growing fintech environment, ensuring privacy and compliance across jurisdictions.

The role is full-time and based in Dubai, offering collaboration with HR and Legal teams while supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
• Experience working with multiple payroll systems is an advantage.
• Exposure to multi-country payroll environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly payroll run operations.
• Maintain payroll dashboards, salary databases and employee details accurately.
• Perform payroll checks during onboarding and offboarding.
• Coordinate with HR, Legal and payroll agents to ensure compliance and deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and record monthly SLA invoices.
• Stay informed of changing payroll laws and regulations.
• Support internal and external payroll audits and inquiries.
• Provide clear and professional support to employees regarding payroll topics.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information.

We are working with a rapidly growing international Fintech company supporting back-office finance operations across multiple country jurisdictions. Due to team expansion we are looking for a Payroll Assistant who will help ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and support a smooth employee lifecycle.

This is a full-time position based in Dubai working closely with HR Legal and local payroll providers while supporting employees with payroll-related matters.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly payroll run operations
• Maintain payroll dashboards salary databases and employee details accurately
• Perform payroll checks during onboarding and offboarding
• Coordinate with HR Legal and payroll agents to ensure compliance and deadlines
