Job summary

Savills Middle East is seeking a Payroll Data Migration Analyst in Dubai for a 12-month Dynamics 365 F&O payroll data migration project. You will work with HR, Finance, and implementation partners to ensure accurate data migration and continuity of payroll.

The role requires strong UAE payroll knowledge, hands-on D365 experience, and meticulous data validation, testing, and reconciliation throughout the migration lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ payroll/data migration experience, preferably UAE-based with regional MENA exposure.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O/Finance modules — essential.
• Advanced Excel skills (data validation, reconciliation, analysis) with payroll data experience.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end migration of payroll data into Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Validate, cleanse, and reconcile legacy payroll data prior to migration.
• Map payroll elements (earnings, deductions, benefits) with HR/Finance.
• Assist in system configuration testing, including parallel runs and UAT.
• Identify and resolve data gaps and inconsistencies during migration.

• Ensure outputs are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

The Role

We are seeking a Payroll & Data Migration Analyst to support a critical 12-month payroll data migration project as part of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation.

This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and successful migration of payroll data, working closely with HR, Finance, and external implementation partners. The position requires strong regional technical payroll expertise, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Data Migration & System Implementation:

• Support the end-to-end migration of payroll data into Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O


• Validate, cleanse, and reconcile legacy payroll data prior to migration


• Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate mapping of payroll elements (earnings, deductions, benefits, etc.)


• Assist in system configuration testing, including parallel runs and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)


• Identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, or data gaps during migration

Payroll Processing Support

• Assist in processing payroll during the transition period to ensure business continuity


• Ensure payroll outputs are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time


• Support reconciliation activities between legacy systems and Dynamics 365 outputs

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a key point of contact between HR, Finance, and IT / system implementation partners


• Provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes and statutory requirements


• Support training and knowledge transfer to internal teams post-implementation

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure payroll data and processes comply with UAE labour laws and company policies


• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee data and payroll information


• Support audit requirements related to payroll data migration and system changes

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Experience & Technical Skills:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ solid payroll/data migration experience, preferably in a UAE-based organisation, but with regional MENA experience


• Proven experience working on payroll system implementations or data migrations


• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O / Finance modules) — essential


• Strong understanding of payroll structures, including Salaries, allowances, commissions, End-of-service benefits, Leave and absence impact on payroll


• Advanced Excel skills (data validation, reconciliation, analysis) with experience with manual payroll/accounting systems would be preferrable


• Regional Payroll knowledge and experience is preferred


• Strong working knowledge of UAE/regional payroll practices


• Exposure to regional payroll systems and practices across the GCC and wider region is highly desirable, specifically in UAE, Bahrain, Oman, KSA, and Egypt


• This will support accurate data migration and alignment across multi-country payroll structures.


• High attention to detail and accuracy
