Job summary

Creative Platform in Dubai seeks a Pattern Master CAD to translate designer concepts into precise digital garment patterns using Gerber, Lectra, Optitex or Tukatech.

You will develop base patterns, create graded sizes, optimize markers, and collaborate with design, sampling and production teams to ensure flawless samples and couture quality.

A strong eye for fit and fabric consumption is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience creating precise digital patterns using CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Tukatech)

Responsibilities

• Interpret designer sketches mood boards and technical specifications to create precise digital patterns using CAD software Gerber Lectra Optitex or Tukatech etc
• Develop high-quality base patterns reflecting designer vision while ensuring technical feasibility, perfect fit and garment balance
• Digitize and refine manual patterns maintaining accuracy in measurements, seam allowances, grainlines and notches
• Create graded patterns for all required sizes ensuring proportional accuracy and consistency across the size range
• Prepare optimized production markers to maximize fabric efficiency and reduce material wastage
• Collaborate with design, sampling and production teams to translate concepts into technically sound garments
• Modify patterns based on fittings and designer feedback to ensure flawless final samples
• Develop innovative pattern solutions and advanced draping or shaping techniques for couture garments
• Maintain a digital archive of CAD files, pattern versions and documentation for easy reference
• Provide fabric and trim consumption data to sourcing and production teams
• Ensure patterns meet brand’s high standards of quality craftsmanship and aesthetic excellence
• Stay updated with CAD software advancements and luxury garment construction techniques
• Support sampling and production teams during peak seasons to ensure timely delivery
• Contribute to continuous pattern efficiency and overall garment finish
• Provide support to upper management when needed
