Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a library setting.

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with library trends is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the library by organizing, labeling, cataloging, and shelving books according to established procedures.
• Assisting patrons with locating books, answering questions, providing resources, and helping them use the library system.
• Developing research strategies for patrons using catalogs, indexes, bibliographies, online databases, or other resources.
• Providing instruction on the use of library materials and resources.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in the field of Library Science.
• Developing displays to promote library services or particular collections of material as needed.
• Assessing patron needs and providing individualized assistance as necessary.
