Job summary

Ali & Sons in the UAE is seeking a Parts Picker to help receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch automotive parts. You will read orders, locate items by code, and prepare parcels for dispatch while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, a high school certificate or diploma, and fluency in English (Arabic preferred). You will work with warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries and uphold company standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a parts, warehouse or inventory role.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge for inventory updates.

Responsibilities

• Read parts orders, shipping orders and requisitions to identify items for picking.
• Sort and place parts on racks, shelves or bins by code, type or size.
• Transfer materials from receiving to storage or operation areas.
• Pick, assemble and pack customer orders for dispatch.
• Record quantities and movements using company systems.
• Weigh and count items to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Open bales, crates and containers safely with required tools.
• Prepare parcels for mailing or delivery.

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to play an important role in keeping parts operations running smoothly?

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, organize, and distribute parts to Retail and Workshop counters.
• Read parts orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to identify items required for picking and distribution.
• Sort and place parts on racks, shelves, and bins according to product code, type, size, style, or other predetermined sequences.
• Transfer materials and parts from receiving areas to designated storage or operational areas.
• Pick, assemble, and pack customer orders from available stock and prepare them for dispatch.
• Mark and identify materials using appropriate labeling or marking methods.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers safely using the required tools.
• Record the quantity of materials and parts received, picked, or distributed.
• Weigh and count items to ensure accuracy and compliance with Company standards.
• Use computer systems to update records and maintain accurate inventory information.
• Prepare parcels and parts for mailing or delivery.
• Confirm inventory movements and ensure records are updated accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or National Parts Manager.

Role Purpose:

To ensure automotive parts are accurately received, stored, picked, distributed, and maintained, while supporting efficient warehouse operations and accurate inventory control.

• Education: High School Certificate or Diploma.
• Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge and the ability to update inventory and parts records.
• Equipment Skills: Basic telephone and computer skills.
