Job summary

EnerMech is seeking a Parts Coordinator / SAP Engineer (Lifting Equipment – Offshore Cranes) in Abu Dhabi to provide administrative, SAP, and technical documentation support for offshore crane operations. The role emphasizes data entry, SAP accuracy, and documentation control to support engineers and maintenance planners.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-7 years of experience with offshore cranes, lifting equipment, or heavy mechanical systems.
• Strong experience with SAP PM/MM in an oil & gas or offshore environment.
• Knowledge of API 2C, LOLER, ISO 9001, and offshore maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and verify correct spare parts for offshore cranes using OEM manuals, technical drawings, and API standards.
• Create and update SAP material master data, equipment records, BOMs, and maintenance task lists.
• Maintain traceability records, certificates of conformity, OEM data sheets, and lifting equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for part identification, quotations, and technical clarifications.
• Provide administrative support for maintenance planning as required by office Engineers.

The Role?

The Parts Coordinator / SAP Engineer (Lifting Equipment – Offshore Cranes) provides administrative, SAP, and technical documentation support to ensure accurate parts management, maintenance planning, and compliance for offshore crane operations. The role focuses heavily on data entry, SAP accuracy, documentation control, and technical verification, supporting engineers and planners in maintaining safe and reliable lifting equipment.

Technical & Equipment Support

• Identify and verify correct spare parts for offshore cranes using OEM manuals, technical drawings, and API standards.
• Support engineers by providing accurate part numbers, specifications, and documentation.
• Maintain updated technical records for cranes, lifting accessories, and critical components.

SAP Administration & Data Entry

• Create and update SAP material master data, equipment records, BOMs, and maintenance task lists.
• Ensure high-accuracy data entry for maintenance history, cost tracking, and part consumption.
• Review SAP maintenance plans along with the spare parts required in line with OEM/API requirements.
• Perform regular data quality checks to ensure consistency across PM/MM modules.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain traceability records, certificates of conformity, OEM data sheets, and lifting equipment documentation.
• Ensure all documentation meets ISO 9001, and client-specific compliance requirements.
• Prepare and update parts lists to align with PM’s.
• Support audits by providing accurate records, SAP reports, and certification files.

Procurement & Vendor Interface

• Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for part identification, quotations, and technical clarifications.
• Review vendor documentation for accuracy and compliance before submission to engineering or QA/QC.

Operations & Maintenance Support

• Provide administrative support for maintenance planning as required by office Engineers.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience with offshore cranes, lifting equipment, or heavy mechanical systems.
• Strong experience with SAP PM/MM in an oil & gas or offshore environment.
• Knowledge of API 2C, LOLER, ISO 9001, and offshore maintenance practices.
• Experience with OEMs such as LeTourneau, Favco, Seatrax, NOV is advantageous.

Technical

• Very good understanding of offshore crane systems (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical).
• Ability to interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and API standards.
• Familiarity with lifting accessories and certification requirements.

SAP Expertise

• Strong proficiency in SAP PM/MM modules.
• High-accuracy data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with material master creation, BOM updates, work order processing, and procurement workflows.

Administrative

• Excellent documentation, record-keeping, and reporting skills.
• Strong organizational ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain structured, audit-ready documentation.
