Job summary

Workato, a retail company based in Ajman, seeks a motivated Merchandising Coordinator to organize merchandising activities for our stores. You will collaborate with buyers, monitor inventory, coordinate suppliers, conduct market research, analyze sales data, create displays, and train staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior in retail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis purposes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with buyers to develop and implement merchandising strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels and propose assortment and replenishment.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely product delivery.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Analyze sales data to optimize product placement and pricing.
• Create visual displays to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
• Train and supervise merchandising staff to ensure proper execution of displays and promotions.
• Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate competitive pricing and terms.
