Qualifications

• Prior experience in a library or customer service is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with locating materials and providing information about library services.
• Check in and out books, magazines, and other materials using the library's computer system.
• Process new materials by shelving, labeling, and cataloging them.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the library shelves and workspaces.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patrons.
• Collect fines for overdue items and assist with managing library accounts.
• Assist with programming and events for different age groups within the community.
