Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organize library materials such as books, magazines, newspapers, films, audio recordings, and other materials.
• Assist patrons with finding information in print and digital formats.
• Help patrons locate materials within the library.
• Check out materials using the library's computer system.
• Update library records in the library system.
• Process new materials including cataloging in the library system.
• Supervise volunteers or student assistants.
• Recommend books and other materials to patrons.
• Create displays of new or special collections of materials.
• Help patrons use online resources such as e-books, databases, or software programs.
