Job summary

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital is seeking a Consultant Vascular Surgeon on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week) to support high-quality vascular services. You will assess, diagnose, and manage vascular conditions across outpatient and inpatient settings, performing open or endovascular procedures as needed.

The role requires MBBS with a vascular surgery specialty and eligibility or holding UAE DOH license, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, evidence-based practice, and collaborative

Qualifications

• MBBS (or equivalent) with specialty certification in Vascular Surgery.
• Eligibility for, or holding, a valid UAE medical license (DOH eligibility preferred).
• Proven consultant-level capability in vascular surgical cases with focus on patient safety and outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level clinical assessment and management in vascular disease.
• Perform and/or oversee open and endovascular vascular procedures.
• Ensure pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative decision-making, and post-operative follow-up.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, ICU, radiology, and other teams for coordinated care.
• Participate in MDT discussions and quality improvement activities.
