Job summary

PPOAR in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks an Accountant Assistant to support the accounting team with daily tasks and financial operations. The role offers part-time hours and flexibility to learn and grow within the accounting function.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, at least 1 year of experience, and strong English communication skills to liaise with clients and vendors. Knowledge of UAE regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Fluent English speaking skills.
• Excellent numerical abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports and budgets.
• Process invoices, payments and other financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial activities.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and accounts.
• Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records.
• Liaise with clients, vendors and stakeholders on financial matters.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Keep up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.
