Job summary

Egis seeks a Structures BIM Engineer in Dubai to create BIM models for bridges, tunnels and civil structures. The role focuses on parametric modelling and delivering aligned BIM packages for complex projects.

Key requirements include substantial Revit experience (4-5 years) within a 6-8 year career, strong CAD skills, and the ability to manage Revit families and clash detection while coordinating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• 6-8 years of experience with 4-5 years Revit; depth in Revit versioning.
• Proficient in CAD design 2D/3D (AutoCAD and Revit).
• Ability to set up new Revit project files and create families.
• Maintain standards and library of Revit families and objects.
• Run clash detection in Revit.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Support the BIM Coordinator and Project Delivery Team in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
• Develop 3D/2D models aligned with project LOD requirements and standards.
• Extract 3D models for clash analysis, schedule review and QS.
• Coordinate all Model interfaces with designers and engineers from other disciplines.
• Ensure Models, drawings and deliverables comply with project and BIM standards.
• Prepare engineering drawings from the model (layouts, sections).
• Develop and extract 2D geometry for reviews and coordination meetings.
• Deliver Project Information Models (PIMs) per agreed protocols.
• Prepare BIM package submissions per project standards.
• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs.
• Prepare models and reports for constructability analysis.
• Coordinate work with lead technical engineer for timely deliverables.
