Job summary

A leading hotel chain in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to manage the engineering team and ensure the maintenance of critical systems, such as air conditioning, water, and fire safety. This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience, alongside strong communication skills and proficiency in engineering tools. The position is full-time with no remote work option.

Job description

• Assign the engineering team according to daily work schedule to handle planned maintenance and respond to guest requests and emergency situations.
• Supervise the engineering team in the effective completion of their duties.
• Works with other operational departments to ensure that they have all required engineering support to perform their duties.
• Check air conditioning, water, and fire safety systems of the hotel and maintain them according to required standards.
• Close coordinate with all other departments of the hotel to maintain their equipment in day-to-day operation.
• Supervise work of external contractors on behalf of the hotel. Support external inspectors in the execution of their inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good communication and writing skills in English.
• Literate in the use of Microsoft Office and engineering tools.
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating organizational and training abilities.
