Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks an experienced Consultant Paediatric Intensivist / Emergency Medicine Physician to join its Paediatric Critical Care and Emergency team in the UAE. The role delivers consultant-level care to critically ill children and paediatric emergencies in a high-volume hospital setting.

You will collaborate with PICU, Paediatrics, Neonatology, Emergency Medicine and other specialties, lead emergency management, supervise juniors and participate in MDTs and quality-improvement initiatives,

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics / Paediatric Critical Care / Emergency Medicine.
• Consultant-level experience in Paediatric Intensive Care and/or Paediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Eligible for DHA/DoH/MOHAP Consultant licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care to critically ill paediatric patients in PICU and ED.
• Lead management of paediatric medical and surgical emergencies.
• Mentor junior doctors and participate in MDT meetings and audits.
• Coordinate care with Paediatrics, Neonatology, Anaesthesia, Surgery and other specialties.
