Job summary

A One Movers LLC is seeking reliable staff for UAE-wide moving operations in Dubai. You will pack, load, transport, and protect household and office items, with emphasis on safe handling and teamwork across sites and customer locations.

Experience in moving, packing or carpentry helps; candidates should be physically fit, punctual and able to work flexibly with travel across the UAE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a moving, packing, furniture or carpentry-related role.
• Basic to good knowledge of carpentry and furniture dismantling/reassembly.
• Physically fit and able to handle demanding moving work.
• Hardworking, punctual and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Professionally pack household and office items using packing materials.
• Safely handle furniture, appliances, electronics and fragile items.
• Load and unload items from moving trucks.
• Carry and move heavy furniture and items safely.
• Disassemble and reassemble beds, wardrobes, tables and other furniture.
• Perform basic carpentry work and furniture adjustments when required.
• Use carpentry and moving tools safely.
• Protect floors, walls, doors and furniture from damage during moves.
• Assist with wooden packing/crating and specialized packing when required.
• Follow supervisor instructions and work efficiently as part of the crew.
• Maintain professional behavior at customer sites and homes.
• Be flexible with working hours based on moving schedules.

1. Professionally pack household and office items using carton boxes, bubble wrap, stretch film and other packing materials.

2. Safely handle furniture, appliances, electronics and fragile items.

3. Load and unload furniture, boxes and other items from moving trucks.

4. Carry and move heavy furniture and household items safely.

5. Dismantle and reassemble beds, wardrobes, tables, cabinets and other furniture.

6. Perform basic carpentry work and furniture adjustments when required.

7. Use common carpentry and moving tools safely.

8. Protect floors, walls, doors and furniture from damage during moving.

9. Assist with wooden packing/crating and other specialized packing work when required.

10. Follow the instructions of the supervisor/team leader and work efficiently as part of the moving crew.

11. Maintain professional behavior while working at customer homes, offices and sites.

12. Be willing to work flexible hours depending on moving schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Previous experience in a moving company, packing company, furniture company or carpentry work is preferred.

2. Basic to good knowledge of carpentry and furniture dismantling/reassembly.

3. Physically fit and capable of handling demanding moving work.

4. Hardworking, punctual and responsible.

5. Able to work effectively in a team.

6. Careful when handling customer belongings.

7. Willing to travel to different job locations across the UAE.

8. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

9. UAE experience is an advantage.
