Job summary

Candidate must hold an appropriate UAE nursing license, maintain re-licensure, and have BLS certification. English communication is essential; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse with authority to work in UAE.
• Maintain periodic re-licensure as required.
• Hold BLS certification (AHA) current.
• Willing to cross-department work.
• Clear English communication (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about health conditions, and offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Assess needs, implement and monitor medical plans with the care team.
• Perform systematic patient assessment and data collection.
• Analyze assessment information and determine nursing diagnoses.
• Define expected outcomes and create care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Record vital signs and address any abnormalities.
• Maintain and update nursing skills and clinical competencies.
• Promote patient health and a safe environment.
• Understand diagnostic tests and laboratory exams.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects or reactions.
• Provide IV fluids or blood products and monitor reactions.
• Offer wound care management and assist in procedures as needed.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
