Reporting to: Programme Leader and Dean, and working with them as the College of Music team

Works Closely with: All members of the faculty and Students

Weekly teaching:2 hours one-to-one tuition and 2 hours small group tuition

Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) is looking for a part-time Oud Tutor to deliver high-quality, individualised instruction that supports students’ artistic and technical development. Reporting to the Programme Leader and Dean, the role involves providing one-to-one and small-group tuition in the principal study area (oud), as well as chamber music coaching where appropriate.

The successful candidate will also develop study, practice, and examination materials as required, and work closely with students, Programme Leaders, and faculty to organise assessments, performances, and masterclasses. In addition, the Oud Tutor will support the Programme Leader in ensuring all programme documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with academic standards.
