Job summary

Want More in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced Orthodontist to join our clinic. This role involves diagnosing malocclusions, planning individualized treatments, and guiding patients through braces and related appliances with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a dental degree, UAE license, a minimum of 3 years in orthodontics, and strong English communication skills. Arabic is a plus; immigrants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in Dental Medicine or equivalent qualification.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven experience as an orthodontist (at least 3 years).
• Knowledge of modern orthodontic techniques and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and bedside manner.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malocclusions (crooked teeth) through physical examination, radiographs, photographs, casts, and other sources of information.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient based on their specific needs.
• Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and its impact on overall health.
• Utilize braces, retainers, space maintainers or other orthodontic appliances as necessary to correct jaw misalignment or malocclusion.
• Monitor the progress of treatment by taking x-rays or impressions of teeth at intervals throughout the course of treatment.
