Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi LLC is seeking experienced OR Orthopedic Nurses with recent orthopedic experience to join our new Orthopedic Service Line. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance orthopedic care through evidence-based practice.

The role emphasizes patient safety, timely care, and ongoing learning within CCAD's structured care model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum three year curriculum in Nursing from an accredited program
• Associate Degree Nurses from North America with evidence of passing the National exam (USA: NCLEX – RN & Canada: Licensing Exam)
• Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in an ambulatory care setting
• Note: UAE graduates may have internship waiver
• Valid and current national license is required
• BLS is required from AHA or equivalent, or within 3 months
• ACLS, PALS relevant to area of specialty is required, or within 6 months
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred

Responsibilities

• Completes timely patient admission and ongoing assessments, plans and updates plan of care
• Provides direct care and evaluates outcomes, including family-centered care
• Monitors and documents patient condition and effectiveness of care
• Assesses educational needs of patients and families
• Provides teaching and educational materials to patients
• Administers prescribed medications per policies and protocols
• Delivers treatments per protocols and educational materials
• Leads the caregiver team to achieve planned outcomes
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to professional standards
• Participates in safety and quality initiatives and research or quality improvement
