Job summary

DR JOY HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT DMCC in Dubai invites a highly skilled Myofunctional Therapist to join our multidisciplinary dental care team on Jumeirah Beach Road. This onsite role focuses on assessing and treating orofacial muscle disorders across pediatric and adult patients.

You will collaborate with orthodontists, TMJ specialists and pediatric dentists to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes, while educating families on craniofacial development and oral function.

Qualifications

• Certification or formal training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT).
• 2–3 years of experience in myofunctional therapy or related roles.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning and therapy delivery for orofacial disorders.
• Strong knowledge of craniofacial development, oral function and breathing-related disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental/healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orofacial myofunctional assessments for patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions for children and adults.
• Collaborate with orthodontists, pediatric dentists, airway experts and TMJ specialists.
• Educate patients and families on best practices for craniofacial and oral development.
• Monitor progress, reassess needs and adjust plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in case discussions.
