Job summary

TalentSpoc in the UAE seeks an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for our Dubai facility. The role covers surgical management of the mouth, jaws, face and related structures, with diagnosis, complex extractions, trauma care, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Applicants must hold BDS/DDS and MDS/MS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, with at least 3 years post-specialization. The position offers private health insurance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold BDS/DDS or equivalent dental degree.
• Must hold MDS/MS or equivalent in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Minimum 3 years post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience in facial trauma and complex oral surgery is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions.
• Perform complex tooth extractions and dentoalveolar procedures.
• Manage impacted teeth, jaw cysts, oral lesions and other conditions.
• Perform surgical interventions for facial trauma and jaw injuries.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor recovery.
• Collaborate with dentists, ENT, plastics and other professionals.
• Counsel patients regarding options, risks and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the surgical management of conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and associated structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions
• Perform complex tooth extractions and dentoalveolar surgical procedures
• Manage impacted teeth, jaw cysts, oral lesions, and other maxillofacial conditions
• Perform surgical interventions for facial trauma and jaw injuries
• Manage infections and other complex conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery
• Collaborate with dentists, orthodontists, ENT specialists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical records and surgical documentation

Requirements

• BDS/DDS or equivalent dental degree
• MDS/MS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Strong experience in oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Experience in facial trauma management and complex oral surgery is an advantage
• Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and patient-management skills
