Job description

Our organization is looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing eye care services, including comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings and prescribing eyeglasses. We are offering a competitive salary of 1400 and are open to considering a foreign candidate.

Job Summary

The Optometrist will work within the clinic providing comprehensive eye care services. This includes performing comprehensive assessments of the eyes and vision systems, diagnosing optical defects and diseases, selecting the appropriate treatment or corrective measures such as eyeglasses or contact lenses. The Optometrist will also provide advice on general eye care, lifestyle modifications to maintain healthy eyesight, and refer patients for specialized medical treatments if necessary.

Demands for Candidate

The ideal candidate should have an Optometry degree from a recognized institution and at least two years of experience in a related field. The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of diagnostic instruments such as autorefractors, keratometers, topographers, automated visual field analyzers is considered an asset.
