The ideal candidate should have a degree in optometry, ophthalmology or a related field and experience working in the field and with different types of patients. The successful candidate should also have knowledge of the latest optical instruments, lenses and treatments.

The Optometrist will be responsible for carrying out eye examinations, examining eyes to diagnose sight problems or diseases and prescribing corrective lenses. They will also provide advice on vision issues, discuss health concerns and recommend lifestyle changes that may be beneficial to the patient's eyesight. Furthermore, they will keep detailed records of each patient's history and any relevant information regarding their vision health.
