Job summary

PPOAR is seeking an optometrist in Jabal-Ali, UAE to provide comprehensive eye care including eye exams, glasses and contact lens prescriptions, and vision therapy. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work with diverse patients.

The position is full-time in Jabal-Ali with relocation support for foreign candidates willing to relocate to the UAE. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Optometry from an accredited school/college.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care including prescribing glasses and contact lenses; perform eye exams and diagnose/treat eye diseases.
• Educate patients on refractive options, eye health and low-vision aids; maintain detailed patient records.

Location: Jabal-Ali, UAE

Contract Type: Full-time

Salary: 1800 per month

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be required to provide comprehensive eye care services such as prescribing glasses, contact lenses and vision therapy, assisting patients in the selection of frames, conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, maintaining patient records and providing patient education on topics such as contact lenses or low vision aids.
• Additionally, the optometrist must be able to work independently and collaboratively with other health professionals.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a degree in optometry from an accredited school/college and should possess excellent clinical skills with the ability to diagnose ocular pathology and provide appropriate treatment.
• He/she should have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with people from diverse backgrounds.
• The successful candidate must also be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
