Job Title: Optometrist
Location: Haur-Fakkan, UAE
Salary: 1600 AED per month

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Optometrist to join our team in Haur-Fakkan, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and managing ocular diseases.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills, be able to communicate well with patients and staff, and have a strong knowledge of optometric procedures. The ability to stay organized while multitasking is essential.

• Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations including visual acuity testing, refraction, retinoscopy, tonometry and ophthalmoscopy
• Evaluate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses
• Manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma or macular degeneration
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques
• Recommend the use of protective eyewear when needed
• Develop custom treatment plans for each patient
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry from an accredited university/college
• Licensed Optometrist in the UAE (preferred)
• At least 3 years’ experience as an Optometrist preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English (Arabic is a plus)
