Job summary

Skatch in Dubai seeks an experienced Operator to join our Manufacturing team. You will operate machinery and equipment in accordance with SOPs to deliver compliant products and meet production targets.

Responsibilities include setting up and running machinery, performing routine quality checks, supporting maintenance, enforcing HSE and 5S standards, and contributing to lean initiatives and operator training. This role requires shift-work capability and good physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate with a 2–3 year technical trade certificate.
• 4+ years hands-on machinery operation in a large industrial plant.
• Strong communication, time management, and physical fitness for shift work.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to consistently achieve daily production goals.
• Conduct routine quality and parameter checks, raise SAP notifications and execute autonomous maintenance tasks.
• Enforce strict HSE guidelines, maintain 5S housekeeping standards and proactively report near-misses.
• Support continuous lean manufacturing initiatives and assist in training new operators.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands‑on machinery operation experiencein a large industrial plant (cable industry experience preferred).
• Skills: Strong operational acumen, effective communication, solid timemanagement, and physical fitness to handle shift work.
