Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have High School or diploma level.
• Must hold UAE driving license 4 / 8 or both and any additional permit is an advantage.
• Should have minimum 5 years of experience in airfield or similar role.
• Must have required technical and mechanical skills to operate equipment.
• Should be fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Utility Vehicles and petrol / Trucks / Loaders / Litter vacuum machines / access equipment in accordance with instructions.
• Ensure roadways at landside and airside are maintained free of FOD / debris.
• Maintain a clean and functioning vehicle; report defects to Supervisors.
• Present the vehicle for inspection and complete the Vehicle Service Book.
• Adhere to all Safety & Security rules and respond to emergency calls.
• Undertake duties in designated areas, adhering to SOPs and Job Card specifications.
• Attend unit meetings and training sessions.
• Provide Customer Service and resolve issues with integrity.
• Identify problems and take responsibility to resolve them.
• Communicate clearly and effectively.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for Operator Heavy Equipment (ODL) to operate the designated vehicles within the division according to the specified procedures during a designated shift. Adherence of works to internal and external safety and quality standards as well assafety procedures shall be ensured.

Key accountabilities

• Operate the Utility Vehicles and petrol / Trucks / Loaders / Litter vacuum machines / access equipment not limited to in accordance with the manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
• Ensureroadways at landside and airside including GSE roads, car parks, tunnels, fence and apron area are maintained free of FOD / debris always.
• Maintain a clean and functioning vehicle; report/ notify Supervisors any defects and damages of the assigned vehicle during the course of the shift.
• Present the vehicle to the motor transport section for inspectionas per the schedule and ensure that the required Vehicle Service Book is completed regularly.
• Be aware of and adhere to allSafety & Security rules and regulations. Complete the Vehicle Service Book as required. Respond on time to emergency calls as and when required.
• Undertake assigned duties in the designated areas, adhering to SOP’s and Job Card specifications and maintain checklists / log book for reference.
• Report for duty as per the scheduleand attend unit meetings and training sessions
• Customer Service – See those they interact with as customer and seeks to identify and meet needs, taking swift action to resolve issues with integrity.

Specific requirements

• Must have High School ordiploma level and be trained in an appropriate field related to the specific work area.
• Musht hold valid UAE driving license 4 / 8 or both and any additional permit is an advantage.
• Shouldhave minimum 5 years of experience in airfieldorsimilar role is preferred.
• Must have required technical and mechanical skills to operate equipment.
• Should befluent in written and spoken English.
